As a designer on the LINE Creative Center team in Tokyo, I was responsible for the UX/UI design of LINE Store. I collaborated closely with the Service Planning and Operations teams to design new feature updates and created key visual assets such as event banners. My work focused on improving product discoverability, simplifying the purchase experience, and responding to the growing needs of a diverse and expanding user base.

To meet the needs of a wide variety of users, LINE Store has continuously introduced new features and seasonal events. In addition to official LINE content, the platform supports individual creators in publishing and selling their own designs, significantly expanding the product offering. As of September 2024, over 15 million items had been uploaded and sold, and the number continues to grow.

With this rapid expansion came new UX challenges. As the number of products and purchases increased, it became harder for users to find relevant content. The interface needed to evolve into a more personalized, user-friendly platform that could scale with the growing inventory. Updates were made to streamline browsing, purchasing, and product usage with a strong focus on helping users discover items that matched their individual tastes more quickly and intuitively.
With this rapid expansion came new UX challenges. As the number of products and purchases increased, it became harder for users to find relevant content. The interface needed to evolve into a more personalized, user-friendly platform that could scale with the growing inventory.
