As a member of the LINE Creative Center in Tokyo, Japan, I was responsible for web design for LINE Store. In collaboration with the Service Planning and Operations teams, I designed the UX/UI for new feature updates to the LINE Store and also created event banners.

Evolving for user convenience.
In order to meet the needs of a wide variety of users, LINE Store has been updated with many new features and events. In addition to the stickers, emojis, and themes officially released by LINE itself, LINE Store also provides a system for individual creators to freely create their own designs, distribute them through LINE Store, and sell them to other users. As of September 2024, there were approximately 15 million design products posted and sold on the LINE Store, and the number is constantly growing.

LINE Coupon was first rolled out in the fall of 2018. However, shortly after deployment, users and merchants pointed out the following common problems with them.
Custom Stickers
Among the many stickers available on LINE Store, custom stickers are unique in that they allow users to personalize the design. What sets custom stickers apart is the ability to add a name or phrase of the user's choice. Thumbnails for custom stickers are distinguished from regular stickers by a T icon, symbolizing text editing. Creating and using custom stickers is designed to be self-explanatory and intuitive, with minimal tasks and steps.
Editor's Choice
A selection of products targeted to specific users is organized by theme to make it easier and faster for users to find items that match their personal preferences. These editorially selected groups feature products with a common theme, presented as a banner with a representative image and text. This approach saves users the effort of browsing through numerous products and allows them to find what they’re looking for more quickly.
Gifts
A feature that allows users to send products to friends. Users can select one or multiple friends based on their needs. The basic operation is similar to purchasing, but it differs in that users need to select the friend they want to gift and include a gift message. The existing UX/UI remains consistent, so users familiar with the purchase flow can easily perform the gifting action. However, the recipient selection process is added at the beginning, ensuring a natural connection between the payment and sending actions.
